Gmail, What's App Facing Outage Globally

After google fixation, Facebook-owned What's App faced the same outage problem reported by the consumers from different parts of the world from 20th till 21st august, 2020 early morning. The app is working perfectly now. The users complained about not being able to log in, send or receive the messages. The app is working perfectly now. Though what's app did not acknowledge the issue yet, the DownDetector informed that 66 per cent users weren't able to connect while 30 per cent had a problem in receiving messages. 

"What's app is experiencing a partial outage for several users. It is not possible to use the service because the server is down. Note that some users might still be able to use the service." said WABetainfo, a website which traces Beta of What's app. 


 

The outage was also seen by Google globally. On 20th August, Thursday, multiple users weren't able to send emails and attach the files. The users took the platform twitter and Downdetector website to complain regarding this issue. Soon Google acknowledged the complaints and apologised for the inconvenience faced by the consumers without addressing the problem. 

“The problem with Gmail should be resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and continued support. System reliability is a top priority at Google. We are making continuous improvements to make our systems better,” said Google in-app status.

Covering the outage, the twitter took the hilarious turn from the public as #gmailnotworking, stating that the working officials can finally get a break. On the other hand, many brands took to twitter to express their views on this Gmail- went down, giving us all a big laughter.
